How bad am I? I threw a sports themed baby shower for a friend back in September and I barely took any pictures. At the end of the shower I remembered that I needed to snap a few quick pics of the decor but as you can see, things were everywhere by that point. Anyhow, I made a tablecloth that looked like a football field. You can find directions here on Hostess with the Mostess. I also made some sports ball topiaries. There was a soccer ball somewhere. You can kind of see them amongst the food. I also made my first diaper cake, very easy.

Just wanted to let you know that Jeremiah's monkey party was yesterday and I've got the pics up on my blog. I thought you might like to see. I included a link to your site!

How did you make the sports ball topiaries?
Hi!! I was wondering how you made the sports topiaries?
How did you make the sport ball topiaries???
I purchased the balls at either Target or Walmart. I also purchased a large dowel and had my hubby cut it to size. Then I painted the dowels and terra cotta pots and stuffed some clay in the bottom of the pots to help weigh them down. Then I cut an 'X' on the bottom of each ball with an carpenter's knife and inserted the dowel into the hole. Then I just pushed it into the clay and covered the clay with crinkly paper.
